24x36” scaled drawing conceptually illustrating the layout of all design elements, including patios, walkways, planters, outdoor kitchens, and pools. It will show the location of all plant material and include a complete plant list and planting instructions.

Whether it’s reducing water usage or fire vulnerability, dealing with hungry deer, poor soil or privacy issues, too much sun, too much shade, solving landscaping problems is what I do.

I am well versed in the use of sustainable and organic gardening principles such as water thrifty planting practices, using native grasses and meadows as lawn replacements, creating bird, butterfly and other wildlife friendly landscapes and adding edibles to your garden in unique and decorative ways.

My specialty

Garden design is my specialty. I will take time with you exploring different options and explaining the available choices. My suggestions are objective, based on what is really right for you, not on how much profit can be made on the installation. When it comes time to seek bids, having a well drawn design to present enables you to clearly communicate your objectives to contractors. They all bid on the identical project and you can more easily compare bids.

My passion

I love what I do. I am continually experimenting with own my garden, trying new plants, new plant combinations, and new design ideas. Lately, I am enjoying spending more time expanding my garden’s vegetable and fruit production and because of that I am striving to make my ornamental beds more water conserving and carefree.
